- The 88th Contracting Squadron, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is herebyissuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for a requirements type contract one six-month period commencing on 1 July 2008 through 31 December 2008 for full maintenance of the basewide elevators including management, labor, equipment, tools and supplies necessary to inspect, maintain and repair elevators for Areas A, B, and C at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio as stated in the Performance Work Statement. This acquisition is for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This acquisition of services is unrestricted, full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238290. Solicitation closing date is 11:30 am (EST) on 23 June 2008. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. An SF 1449 is being issued for the ease of proposal preparation. All applicable provisions/clauses are contained in the SF1449. The solicitation and all related documents are now available at http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. All interested offerors must download documents from this web site. No hard copies will be available. All interested offerors are requested to electronically register in order to receive e-mail notification of updates to this solicitation. The Request for Proposal (RFP) and the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and all other pertinent documents are posted on PIXS at http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil Questions or concerns can be sent via e-mail to Jacqueline.Davis@wpafb.af.mil or via fax at 937-257-3926 or 937-656-1412, referencing solicitation number FA8601-08-R-0038.
