- Description
- NASA/HQ plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Office of Human CapitalManagement (OHCM) and the Office of the Chief Engineer (OCE). Both offices areresponsible for providing Agency-wide executive leadership, program/project careerdevelopment, engineering and scientist training activities, policy direction, functionalmanagement, and coordination of training and development activities directed towardaccomplishing the agency Human Capital goals. To most effectively use its limited staff,OHCM requires training registration, assessment, administrative and logistic support tocomplement its dynamic training and development experiences for the NASA civil servantcommunity. The contractor shall provide all personnel, office space, laptop and portableequipment,material,and supplies to provide logistical services to assist NASA inpreparing for,conducting,and evaluating the various Agency-wide and Center-specifictraining courses and developmental programs sponsored by OHCM,OCE and any other Agencysponsored training. Work Location:The Contractor shall conduct work in Washington, DC and other NASA Field Centers. Period of Performance and Contract Type:The period of performance for this contract 48 months after contract award. NASA intendsto award a firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract. This procurement is 100% 8(a) small business set-aside. See Note 1.The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 561110 and $6 mil.The anticipated release date of RFP NNH08245599R is on or about July 15, 2008 with ananticipated due date of on or about August 15, 2008.All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over theInternet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may beaccessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/HQBusiness Opportunities page ishttp://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=04 Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It isthe offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of thesolicitation and amendments (if any).
