- The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (DHUD) intends to issue Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number Q8C5AAC0011 in support of the HUD Headquarters, Office of University and Partnership, Office of Policy Development and Research (PD&R). The proposed procurement will be issued pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) not to exceed $100,000. The objectives of the proposed requirement are to obtain the servies of a qualified small business contractor who has the experience to Conduct two (2) two and one-half day hands on technical assistance training workshop. The workshops must be designed to provide guidance and insight on Comprehensive Strategic Planning and Basic Housng and Economic Development Opportunities to Historically Black Colleges and Universities and their Community Development Corporations that carry our or have future plans to carry out projects funded through HUD's HBCUs program. The proposed Period of Performance is eight (8) months from notice to proceed for the request training. The Size Standard is $6.5 milliion. The anticipated issuance date of the RFQ is June 30, 2008. The RFQ will be issued electronically to all interested offerors. This notice will be posted on HUD's Internet HOme Page Contracting Opportunities website: www.hud/gov/offices/cpo/contact.cfm. Potential Offerors are asked to frequently check FedBizOpps for any admendment to the RFQ you obtain. Hardcopies of this RFQ may be obtained by sending an e-mail message to Mona.k.Collins@hud.gov or in writing at the attention of Mona Collins, Contract Specialist, HUD Chicago Contracting Operations Branch, 77 West Jackson Blvd., Room 2517, Chicago, Illinois 60604-3507. Please reference the RFQ Number. An Award will be made to an offeror on the basic of Best Value to the Government in consideration of both price and non-price factors.
