The Food and Drug Administration, Jefferson Laboratories, in Jefferson, Arkansas, is seeking business sources, including small businesses, service disabled veteran owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, and 8(a) certified companies capable of providing the following: Image Stream Analyzer. Instrument must be able to acquire images of cells in flow at rates of at least 100 cells per second. Instrument must be able to generate six (6) simultaneous images of each cell. These images must include a brightfield image, a darkfield image and four separate fluorescent images. The fluorescent images must be in the following color bands; 500-560nm, 560-595nm, 595-660nm and 660-735nm. The instrument must come equipped with a brightfield lamp and a 48nm laser capable of variable output up to 200 mW, with the capabilities of adding a 658nm laser capable of variable output to 80 mW, and a 405nm laser of variable output to 350 mW. The instrument must be able to image at a focal depth of 16 microns. It must utilize time delay integration (TDI) technology for image acquisition and maximum fluorescence sensitivity. The instrument must have an automatic feedback mechanism to monitor and adjust for changes in the position of cells in flow, keeping the majority of cells in focus. It must have the IDEAS® analysis software. The analysis software must be able to generate information on more than 200 parameters for each cell.
