- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Coordinating Center for Health Information and Service (CoCHIS), National Center for Health Marketing (NCHM) is seeking to award a sole source purchase order to provide Web-Based Remote Usability Services for one (1) year. In order to meet the government's minimum requirement for these services a vendor must have/provide: - Ability to create tests and manage usability data in-house. - Independent control over coordination and recruitment of participants. - Web-based system without the need to download additional software or applications. - Ability to view usability data in real-time. - Ability to access raw data for further analysis. - Allow participants to take survey when it is convenient for them, in their natural environment (increasing chances of participation and validity of data.) - No moderator needs to be present when participant completes the test. - Independence from service provider for analysis and/or review. - Ability to conduct tests in multiple languages. - Compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, the Government has determined that Keynote Systems, Inc., in San Mateo CA is the only responsible source to satisfy this requirement. Subject to availability of funds, the Government intends issue a purchase order by 21 July 2008. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the services and maintenance required are encouraged to identify themselves and provide written notification to the Contracting Officer (fyq8@cdc.gov) within fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
