- Service & Maintenance for the equipment listed herein: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solictation will not be issued. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is seeking sources to provide: 1- a One (1) year Service & Maintenance Agreement for the attached list of equipment. This maintenance agreement includes: all parts (except consumables), labor and travel necessary to repair the equipment. 2- Service includes, telephone support call back within 2 hours; Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. EST, excluding holidays. 3- Three (3) Preventive Maintenance visits per year. 4- Unlimited Emergency Service visits with two (2) working days response time which includes all trouble shooting, repair, replacement parts, and travel expenses. 5- Payment schedule monthly/quarterly in arrears. 6- Period of Performance: 10/1/08 - 9/30/09. The selected Offeror must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items, evaluation criteria will be for past performance. The selected offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at 51.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses in paragraph (b) of FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, will apply: 52.204-7, 52.222-26, 52.222-36, 52.232-1, 52.232-25, 52.232-33, 52.233-1, 52.233-3, 52.243-1, 52.246-4, 52.249-4. CCR Requirement - Company must be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award could be made to them. If company is not registered in CCR, they may do so by going to CCR web site at: http://www.ccr.gov. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811219 and the Small and the Small Business Size Standard is S6.5 million dollars. All interested, responsible, sources must respond by July 7, 2008.
