- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking sources for secured self-park type parking spaces (no valet type parking). The entire premises offered to the Government shall be paved, striped, graded for proper drainage and must be within a secured type area (fencing and gates are to be provided for any outside parking offered). The spaces shall be well lighted, secure, provide easy access to streets, and handicapped accessible in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations. The government intends to award a principal lease for parking available 24 hours a day 7 days a week with drive-in/drive-out capability. The government reserves the right to consider leasing overflow parking that meets the minimum safety, security, and egress requirements during peak working hours. Full solicitations for proposals will be posted in July of 2008. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING 1) Lot name and or address. 2) Number of parking spaces available for monthly lease. 3) Statement that spaces will meet minimum requirements set forth above with any limitations to availability. 4) Any security to be provided or installed (i.e. fences, Parking lot attendant, surveillance cameras, etc.). 5) Name, address, and telephone number of individual to be contacted. 6) Evidence of authority to represent the owner.
