- Statement of Work: The Library of Congress has a requirement for the following: Purchase of two Steenbeck model horizontal motor rewinders. The Moving Image Section of the Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division at the Library of Congress Packard Campus is looking to purchase two Steenbeck horizontal motor rewinders. One must be fitted for 16mm motion picture film and the other for 35mm motion picture film, or both must be dual 35mm/16mm motion picture film motor rewinders. The product should be delivered to the attention of Amy Gallick at the National Audiovisual Conservation Center, Packard Campus, 19053 Mount Pony Road, Culpeper, VA 22701-7551. Delivery should occur between July 1st, 2008 and October 1st, 2008. Vendor will visit NAVCC and provide (agreed-upon cost) any assembly of rewind tables that will be needed to make them operational. Product will be delivered to the Moving Image Section. Amy Gallick (Preservation Specialist) will inspect product to ensure items meet specifications and are not damaged. If assembly is required by vendor, Amy Gallick will inspect and test products following assembly to ensure they work effectively. If contractor does not meet requirement, items will be returned for refund or exchange for correct/non-damaged product. If rewinders do not operate correctly following assembly by vendor, vendor will be required to perform corrective maintenance, at vendor’s cost, or refund the cost of returned item, paying return shipping.
