Description

This is a sources sought and market research for all small business concerns. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD is looking to identify small business sources able to meet the Government’s requirement to procure an estimated quantity of 13 each, Direct Frequency Synthesizers over the next five years. Please see the attachment for the Technical Specifications and requirements for the Direct Frequency Synthesizers. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award, or be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties in support of the effort mentioned above. Small businesses who believe they can meet the requirement as contained in this synopsis are requested to please submit in writing affirmative response demonstrating they can meet the Government’s requirements. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet the specified requirements. The response must be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish bona fide capability to meet requirements, no more than 15 pages. Responses to include company Cage Code, DUNS and information on business size to comply with Federal Acquisition (FAR) 19.502-2(c). Please identify whether the products to be supplied are furnished by a small business manufacturer and also specify if a current GSA Schedule is available to fulfill this requirement. All data received in response to this sources sought, marked or designated as corporate or proprietary, will be fully protected from release outside the Government. Written responses shall be submitted electronically to the designated Contract Specialist, Katherine Lang, in Microsoft Word format or Portable Document Format (PDF) at the following e-mail address: katherine.lang@navy.mil. Please submit capability statements by 2:30 p.m., EST on 30 June 2008. Please submit any questions regarding this synopsis by 2:30 p.m., EST on 25 June 2008 to Katherine Lang via e-mail to katherine.lang@navy.mil. The Government is not committed nor obligated to pay for the information provided, and no basis for claims against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this sources sought.
