- Description
- The Defense Distribution Center, Warner Robbins, Georgia (DDWG) has a requirement for Preventive Maintenance (PM), Unscheduled Maintenance (UM), all repair parts, and all associated work to repair/maintain all automotive equipment and Material Handling Equipment (MHE). The contractor will be required to maintain and repair the current inventory of equipment. However, the inventory may change due to normal equipment cycle replacements. The services shall be provided on a per call and/or scheduled basis as required. This requirement is designed to ensure that the equipment within DDWG is maintained and repaired in accordance with established commercial standards and the performance standards specified. The solicitation is expected to be released on or about July 8, 2008. The solicitation will be available via the Federal Business Opportunities website. The proposal due date will be specified in the solicitation. This negotiated procurement will be accomplished using a tradeoff source selection process in accordance with FAR 15.101-1. The tradeoff source selection process will result in award to contractors offering the best value to the Government. Offerors will be required to submit a technical and a price proposal in accordance with the solicitation instructions. Specific evaluation criteria will be stated in the solicitation. Multiple awards may be made as a result of the solicitation. The term of the contract consists of a one year base period and two one-year option periods. Access to the solicitation package will only be made available to prospective offerors via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at http: www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed. Any questions concerning this project should be directed to the Contract Specialist Gary G. Walls at gary.walls@dla.mil. All questions should be submitted in writing via email to the above. Prospective offerors are cautioned concerning their responsibility to access the Federal Business Opportunities website for any amendments that may be issued under the solicitation. There will be no advance notification of amendment issuance. Prospective offerors are advised to consult the website frequently to check for any amendments. Amendments may be issued up until the proposal due date. To receive awards resulting from solicitations issued after May 31, 1998, your company must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractor may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http:// www.ccr.gov.
