- The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about July 2, 2008 with quotes due approximately 30 days following issuance. Project description: A Historic Research Study on General George Washington's Headquarters and Home. Solicitation number N1850080026.This Historic Resource Study will result in a narrative, with illustrations, footnotes and appendices that gives an in-depth look at the important role and significance of the Patriot occupation of the Vassall House, especially the period in which Washington used the House as headquarters and home during the Siege of Boston, July 1775 - April 1776. This study will document and confirm the national significance of the House's association with Washington, and inform site planning and development of interpretive/educational programs. The performance period is twenty six months.. NAICS code 541720, $6.5 million. This solicitation is set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
