- NASA/KSC has a requirement for on site consulting services. Period of Performanceis July 7 through Oct 31, 2008.1. 0Strategic and Tactical Consulting to NASA regarding Maximo Phase-in1.1Mathias LLC will support Kickoff Meeting and Initial Strategy Discussions withcontractors for Institutional Service Contract and Information Management andCommunication Support.Mathias LLC will produce Deliverable Report including approach,findings and recommendations to NASA Program Manager.1.2Mathias LLC will develop, document and support software interfaces necessary toprovide for the ability to refresh Kennedy Integrated Communication Services data in IMCSwithout overwriting data entered by new contractors. Mathias LLC will produceDeliverable Software and Documentation for said task to NASA System Owner, and willdemonstrate usage of software to NASA, KICS and IMCS.1.3Mathias LLC will develop, document, and execute software interfaces to verifyData Integrity upon Final Refresh during the final week of Phase-in. Mathias LLC willproduce Deliverable Software and Documentation for said task, and will deliver reportscreated from the execution of the software to NASA System Owner.1.4Period of Performance: July 7 through October 31, 2008.1.5Contract Type:Fixed Price to include travel expenses per government rates.NASA/KSC intends to purchase these services from Mathias LLC due to the vendors previousknowledge and experience of the KSC Maximo project upgrade data migration requirementsand data migration issues unique to KSC. His unique knowledge of the processes isessential to resolving the referential data integrity errors. This is the only knowndata migration consultant with extensive knowledge of KSC's unique and complex Maximoupgrade projects system archecture. The Government intends to acquire commercial services using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon _June 25, 2008__. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
