Description: Preventative Maintenance, Inspection, and Repair of Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Systems to Include Cleaning and Maintenance/Repair of Commercial Ducts and Hoods, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Resulting solicitation will solicit Request for Quotations (RFQ) to provide Preventative Maintenance, Inspection, and Repair of Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Systems to Include Cleaning and Maintenance/Repair of Commercial Ducts and Hoods, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Specifically, work that will be required under any resulting contract will consist of the contractor providing inspections, maintenance and repair of Fire Alarms, Sprinkler systems, Commercial Hoods, Clean Agent systems, and AFFF. System types and brand will vary. All work will be performed on site. Preventative Maintenance includes testing and replacing batteries, adjusting switches such as tampers, pressure, flow, greasing valves, cleaning as required, and repair of wires etc. Army regulations require use of the UFC 3-600-2 as regards the fire alarm and suppression systems. Many of the requirements refer back to the NFPA; therefore work shall be accomplished in accordance with such publications. Inspections and testing will be performed on a scheduled basis as determined by the Government. All inspections shall be supported by a written report listing deficiencies, condition of the systems, and any proposed repairs. Repairs will consist of repairing the systems to ensure they are fully operational. Note that repair work may be from items identified during scheduled maintenance and inspections or may be from work orders identified by the Government. Electrical inspections, Alarm & Sprinkler acceptances are required IAW NFPA and UFC recommendations and AHJ requirements. Commercial Kitchen Hood Cleaning will consist of the contractor cleaning hood systems by removing all grease, oil deposits, and other residue from the hood system and any back splashes. Also, work may include fire extinguisher repair and service work. Contractor shall ensure that Technicians are qualified with journeyman experience. NICET certified or Professional Engineer services may be needed periodically throughout the contract. Contract type will be firm fixed price with a time and material element. This acquisition is 100% Set- Aside for Small Business Concerns. NACIS is 561621/$11.5 Million.
