Description
NASA/KSC is hereby soliciting information about potential sources for Bdot and Pdotsensors in accordance with the specification below: Free Field Bdot Sensor, Balun, and Passive Integrator SpecsAeq(m2) =1.00E-02Freq Response>50MHzRisetime<4ns Output ConnectorTTC 100 Ohm TwinaxMax Output Peak (equal or better than)2kVWeatherproofVendor shall provide a Balun and Passive Integrator Compatible with the sensor. The Balunshall convert the differential output of the sensor to single ended, which is the inputof the integrator. The integrator shall have be 50 Ohms with a 100s time constant. Design shall be such that responses from E fields are canceled and the sensors outputsignal results from only magnetic fields. If asolicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA AcquisitionInternet Service. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these sitesfor the release of any solicitation or synopsis.Vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements areinvited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references. Allresponses shall also include the size of the business. This requirement is considered to be a commercial or commercial-type product. Acommercial item is defined in FAR 2.101.This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as acommitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Respondents deemedfully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business or 8(a) set-aside based onresponses hereto. All responses shall be submitted to Rob Wolfinger no later than June25, 2008.
