Description
The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment and incidental supplies necessary to remove and replace the Lagoon Liner and Filter Fabric at the Grindstone Campground at Mt. Rogers NRA located on the George Washington/Jefferson National Forest in Smyth County, Virginia. The work consists of pumping and hauling all remaining sludge waste to accepting licensed wastewater treatment facility; remove lagoon liner and filter fabric and properly dispose of to accepting licensed solid waste facility; complete site preparation so that all surfaces upon which the fabric and liner are to be placed are dry, clean, firm, smooth, uniform and free of all loose earth, rocks, vegetation and foreign material; and furnish and install new filter fabric and lagoon liner. Offerors shall be required to submit “submittals” referencing manufacturer information with their proposal. Offerors shall also be required to submit “submittals” prior to liner installation after award. It is anticipated that this project will take 90 days to complete with work commencing on or around October 1, 2008 after the camping season has ended.
