Description
This requirement has not been cancel (Active Requirement). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Part 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is RFQ557906 and solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those effects through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. Delivery and acceptance shall be performed at Bethesda, Maryland. The National Institute of Drug Abuse on behalf of the National Institute of Mental Health has a requirement for One Channel Data Acquisition System. The requirements must be a high channel count (128 channels) data acquisition system must be able to record both local field potentials (FLPs) and single unit spikes from non-human primates. The system must be able to handle large data streams and is compatible with one and off-line software for spike sorting and data analysis. The specification shall include the following (1) 128-channel data system including a rack-mountable neural signal processor with front-end amplifier, cable, data acquisition software, and 128-channel neural signal simulator (2) 32-channel recording, DC-coupled 1x gain and 2 ft long headstage cable (3) Digital input cable for receiving digital events and (3) One year warranty. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The Provision at 52.212-12, Evaluation Commercial Items, is applicable. Specific evaluation criteria are: (1) Ability to meet technical requirements within specification. Offers will be evaluated on best value in relation to price. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with it offer. Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Condition Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and Clause. Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders commercial items, applies to this acquisition. The quotations are due June 23, 12:00PM EST and will be submitted electronically to gregoryk@nida.nih.gov.
