Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format contained FAR Subpart 12.6. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. QUOTES ARE REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Quotes shall reference Request for Quotes (RFQ) number W911RZ-08-T-0153. This announcement incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-08. It is the Contractor's responsibility to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provisions. This requirement is unrestricted. The NAICS code for this procurement is 721199 with a small business size standard of $6.5 million. Quotes shall include pricing of: CLIN 0001; QTY: 1ea; PoP: 14 - 17 Jul 08; Event Floor Space (approx 24,000 sq ft) - Includes 1 General Session Area/Room, 8 smaller expandable classrooms; which requires 6 of the rooms with the capability of expanding to hold approximately 100-150 people, one room for a reception area which can accommodate at least 30 people, and one room for the command center with the capability to accommodate 20 25 people. Additional requirements are for set up and tear down of equipment, storage, VIP parking, seating area chairs for briefing area (approx 50 chairs), approximately 50 chairs and 100 tables to support 20 vendor booth. CLIN 0002; QTY: 1 ea; PoP: 14 - 17 Jul 08; Audio/Visual Internet Connectivity Package - Package should include 3 projections screens, 3 microphones (for briefing speakers), and internet capability for the virtual FRG registration (12 computers) and approx 10 other computers to allow internet access. Computers and proximas will be provided by the customer. Scope of Work 1. Requirements for the 2-4 ID deployment fair, held from 14 17 July. Set-up will take place on 13 July. 2. Space required. There will be several agencies throughout the Fort Carson and Colorado Springs community supporting the deployment Fair. Totaled, we are looking at having 20 different agencies support this fair. Due to the large number of agencies participating, a total of approximately 24,000 sq ft is required. 2-4 ID will need a large banquet hall for the agencies to be able to set-up their information booths in. Along with the large banquet hall, we will also need approximately 8 smaller expandable rooms that will provide a command center, reception area, and briefing rooms for the different briefings that will be held. A total of about 24,000 sq ft will be needed to hold this event. 3. Approximately 50 tables and 100 chairs to support the booths. An additional 400 chairs will be needed to provide sitting areas for the different briefings that will take place throughout the event. 4. Audio visual: For this event, 3 projection screens will be needed to support the different briefings that will take place. Also needed is internet capability for the virtual FRG registration (12 Computers) and approximately 10 other connections to allow internet access. 3 Microphones will be needed for the different briefings that will take place. 5.1500 2000 Soldiers and families are expected to attend the fair each day. This fair will run from 0900 2100 daily from 14 17 July, with set-up occurring on 13 July. A secure room will be needed for storage of computers and other items nightly. Please identify any additional cost if any for VIP parking. MT, 30 Jun 2008. Evaluation--Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsive responsible offeror whose technically acceptable offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Award will be made on the basis of determining the availability of dates and the price/unit issue breakdown provided for the separate CLINS identified above and low price. Quotes shall include: Tax ID number, cage number and DUNS number. Any questions should be submitted via e-mail for forwarding to end-user for response.
