- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) FA4877-08-Q-0465 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-09. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside under NAICS code 423850 and small business size standard is 100. (v) The contractor shall provide the following item: 1). 10 mm Rescue rope - High strength rope. Qty.: 12 Each; 2) 7 mm Throw rope to access subject. Qty.: 16 Each; 3) Crossline Reach Rescue System - complete kit for grasping any rescue line. OR EQUAL. Qty.: 16 Each; 4) Leader Line Deployment System for spanning gaps, OR EQUAL. Qty.: 4 Each; 5) Large pulley - progress device for swift water rescue, OR EQUAL. Qty.: 8 Each; 6) 8 mm Accessory cord - anchoring materials, OR EQUAL. Qty.: 4 Each; 7) Carabiners - linds for attaching to anchors and objects, OR EQUAL. Qty.: 64 Each; 8) Dyneema sewn sling life rated extension device, OR EQUAL. Qty.: 8 Each; 9) Mechanical prusik device for stopping progress, OR EQUAL. Qty.: 4 Each; 10) Rope protector for high line anchor, OR EQUAL. Qty.: 8 Each.; 11) SMC swiftwater pulley, 2 aluminum ball bearing, OR EQUAL. Qty.: 32 Each.; 12) LSP cinch rescue collar - swift water loop for snatching subject, OR EQUAL.
