Description

Services Non-Personal: The Air Force intends to issue a sole source award to G E Inspection Technologies, LP, 721 Visions Dr, Skaneateles NY 13152, for the following services: the contractor shall provide all labor, tools, test equipment, transportation, parts, materials, and other incidentals necessary to provide off-site remedial maintenance of the Everest Borescope Equipment and components listed in the attachments to this notice. A time and materials (T&M) contract is contemplated for one basic year with two option years. The proposed basic period of performance is 01 Aug 2008 through 31 Jul 2009. The estimated award date is 01 Aug 2008. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811219 with a size standard of $6.5M. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals will be considered within 15 days after the publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The government does not own the data rights or the processes for repair of these scopes. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation.
