Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (SS)provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs to determine the availability and capability of potential small businesses to provide loan services for the projected titled: Servicing Permanent and Combination Construction/Permanent Financing of Multi Family Transitional Housing Facilities for Homeless Veterans. This SS is for information and planning purposes and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The primary objectives to be accomplished under this procurement are to provide the Department of Veterans Affairs with complete mortgage loan servicing (the Servicer) for the Multi Family Loan Guarantee Program. Once a permanent loan has closed or a combination construction/permanent loan has converted to permanent status, the Servicer will be expected to perform the loan servicing responsibilities that will be detailed below and as customary in the mortgage industry. The Servicer will be expected to communication directly with the borrower, representing the interests of the VA and the Federal Financing Bank (FFB). The NAICS Code is 522310.Interested small business potential offerors are encouraged to respond to this notice. However, be advised that generic capability statements are not sufficient for effective evaluation of respondents capacity and capability to provide the required service. The purpose of this SS is to identify qualified small business concerns including: 8(a), HUBZone or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses that are interested in and capable of describing the work herein. The VA may or may not award a contract on the basis of responses. The VA will not pay for the preparation of any information submitted. As a result of the Notice, the VA may issue a Request for Proposal (RFP). There is no solicitation available at this time.
