The 22,595 square foot facility will contain 14 firing lanes, 50 meters long with a steel bullet trap at the target end. The lanes shall be 6 feet wide, each with 2-8 feet additional clearance between the walls and the end lanes. The ballistic baffle ceiling will consist of a flat pre-stressed concrete double tee structural roof beam with a bullet absorbing rigid insulated panels. The roof will be finished with a fully adhered membrane system. The building will also contain a range officer control room, a classroom, two toilet rooms, two mechanical rooms, an electrical room, and a storage room. An entrance lobby and single corridor connecting the firing range are also provided. The building will include space for installation of a bullet trap collection system. The bullet trap system will be installed by a separate Government contractor. Site work includes rough and finish grading, gravel parking area, perimeter fencing, and connection to installation utilities.
