- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a need for ten (10) metal cabinets sets (with an option to buy five (5) additional metal cabinet sets) to be manufactured in accordance with the attached specifications and drawings. The metal cabinet sets will be used in support of the FAA LRR SLEP Program. A Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract will result from this Screening Information Request (SIR). The contract will contain AMS Clause 3.3.1-33 Central Contractor Registration (April 2006). Award cannot be made to a contractor that's not registered or up to date with their CCR registration. Competition is limited to small business concerns. NAICS code for this requirement is 337127 (Institutional Furniture Manufacturing) with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. All responses to the SIR must be submitted in accordance with page 1, Block 9, and Section L, "Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offers" of the SIR. Hand-delivered responses will need to allow sufficient time to process through security procedures in place at the Aeronautical Center. Overnight delivery of responses to this SIR/RFO could also be impacted if not sent in sufficient time to allow for special mail handling procedures in place at the Aeronautical Center. Any responses received after 2:00 p.m. CST, July 11, 2008, will not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals, incorporated by reference in the solicitation. If all requested information is not furnished, the vendor's response may be determined ineligible. Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the SIR/RFO process. This SIR/RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested documentation.
