- The office of Defense Procurement, Acquisition Policy, and Strategic Sourcing (Program Development and Implementation) invites vendors providing federal agencies with contract writing and/or administration systems, applications, or capabilities to attend a meeting on Monday, July 14, 2008, 0830-1130 to discuss the Department of Defense’s Procurement Data Standard (PDS) - Phase 1. The ability to produce contract award data output either by using the PDS or mapping to the PDS will be a requirement of any system or application deployed in the Department to provide contract award capabilities. PDS Phase 1 is available on the DPAP website at http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/pdi/eb/procurement_data_standard.html.
