Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to California Analytical Instruments in Orange, California for Model 1412 Photoacoustic Field Gas-Monitor ( 1 each), Optical Filters ( 3 each), and Calibration to be delivered to Woods Hole, MA by 07/30/2008California Analytical Instruments is the only known source for this requirement because the instrument is uniquely suited for measurement of greenhouse gases in flux chambers both in the filed, as well as in the lab. Additionally, the instrument can be configured to sample chamber headspace air in a closed loop. No options are included in this requirement. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). FAX response to 703.648.7367 or email to: phundley@usgs.gov.
