- THIS ACQUISITION IS INDIAN PREFERENCE. Work under this project consists of furnishing all plant, labor, supplies, materials, equipment, transportation and incidentals necessary for the complete construction which is generally described as follows: Project No. 05P1N, Chemawa Dormitory, Chemawa Indian School, which consists of the construction of a 78,380 square foot two story concrete and masonary constructed dormitory and the related site work and utility improvements. The dormitory is projected to house approximately 400 students, both boys and girls, grades 9 through 12. The project also includes the demolition of ten existing brick dormitory buildings and the restoration and seeding of those sites. The project is designed to comply with a Certification Level according to the U.S. Green Building Councils Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system.All new facilities are to be located at the Chemawa Indian School, 3700 Chemawa Road NE, Salem, Oregon 97305, exit 260 off State 5 East on Chemawa Road. Project Range: More than $10 Million. Best Value proposals are being solicited on a full and open competitive basis. The estimated period of performance for this project is 548 calendar days (18 months) after the date of receipt of Notice to Proceed. The NAICS code that applies to the project is 236220. Within 3 weeks after issuance of solicitation, a pre-proposal conference will be held at the construction site. Details will be in the solicitation. Any questions or clarifications requested should be in written format and mailed to the Contracting Office identified above in time enough to have answers at the pre-proposal conference. Cost per solicitation package will be $150.00. Checks for the solicitation package, plans and specifications should be made payable to WHPacific, and mailed to WHPacific, Attention of Mr. Richard H.
