- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management, California Desert District, Palm Springs Field Office has a requirement for installation of fencing and associated gates for the protection of natural resources from unauthorized Off-Highway Vehicle use on Federal Lands in and around the Dos Palmas Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC). This requirement is 100% side-aside for Small business/ Hub-Zone businesses under NAICS 332618. SITE TOUR WILL BE HELD ON THE 14TH OF JULY 2008 @ 9:00AM PDT. Points of contact are Wendy Dobrowolski 760-251-4800 and/or Dan Westermeyer 760-251-4815, the objective of the site tour is to acquaint contractors with the site characteristics Directions to Site: Take the 86S exit of Interstate 10. Left on 66th Avenue and a right on Hwy 111. Follow Hwy 111 until you see the Salton Sea State Recreation sign (blue sign) and turn left on Parkside Drive. Cross over the railroad tracks and turn right on Desertaire Road. Follow road down and curve to the left on Dos Palmas Road. Continue to gate. Potential Contractors may obtain a copy of the solicitation at http://www.fbo.gov on or about the 15th of July 2008 by typing BFQ080032. Statement of Work (SOW) will be located under "Clauses and Attachments". No hard copies of the solicitation will be provided. Contractors must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be considered eligible for award. Facsimile quotes will be accepted at 951-697-5309. Deadline for submission of quotes is 4th of August 2008 @ 4:00PM (PDT).
