- This is a pre-solicitation notice for a Request for Quotation for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision to repair steel anchoring, concrete foundation and floors, then prepare and paint the interior and exterior of both the 58 Ft high front and 33 Ft high rear steel range light towers of the 1909 Munising Range Light Station at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore near Munising, MI.Work of this project will require a structural evaluation of the tower bases prior to repair.The NAICS Code is 238320. The small business size standard is $13.0 million. The estimated price range of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000.This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. Accordingly, it is open to both small and large businesses. The solicitation with drawings, specifications, bid schedule and wage rates will be posted to the website http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://idease.nvc.gov on or about July 12, 2008.No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued.
