Description

The Department of Justice's Wireless Management Office (WMO) intends to issue a sole source award to Motorola, Inc., Columbia, MD for a system support center for services,equipment and personnel necessary to provide remote system monitoring, maintenance, and repair for the Integrated Wireless Network (IWN) also known as "legacy IWN." The Contractor shall be proficient in the maintenance and repair of ASTRO 25, SmartZone/Omnilink v2.0.3 or higher, Private Data Systems, Customer Enterprise Network (CEN)-to include Key Management Facility (KMF), Core Security Management Suite-to include Core Security Management Server (CSMS), and Centracom Systems. The system hardware, software, and network configuration are proprietary to Motorola. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. A fixed price, time and material, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract is anticipated. The period of performance is for a base period and four (4) option periods. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All contractors doing business with the Government are now required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and may register at the following site: http://www.ccr.gov.
