- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Ionex Research Corporation, 1301 Eastwind Drive, Lafayette, CO 80026. The contractor shall supply IO-CAP Charcoal Adsorber Cell, fill with 8X16 mesh cocoanut shell charcoal, Ionex P/N 02-100, 36 each. IO-CAP 02-200 HEPA filter for HVAC systems, 12 each. Ionex built a Ton container storage building filter unit for the Aberdeen Chemical Disposal Facility in 2001. The replacement filters are the only authorized and compatible filters the unit can function on. Filters are proprietary to Ionex Research Corporation. The North American Industrial System (NAICS) for this requirement is 333999 and the small business is 500 employees. Interested parties may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 10:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time July 2, 2008. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal or a solicitation of offers.
