- Description
- NASA John C. Stennis Space Center intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) forthe following Commercial item/services: Administrative/Clerical Support Services. Thework for this requirement includes: (1) General Office Services (Telephone Services,Appointment and Schedule Services, Visitor Services, Meeting Services, TelecommunicationServices, and Scheduling Conference Rooms, Information Dissemination, Ordering Supplies,Copying/Faxing/Graphics/Photo Services/Mailing (Federal Express), Records Management);(2) Data Management Services (Desktop Processing, Travel Coordination, CorrespondenceTracking); (3) Time and Labor Collection; (4) Property Coordination; (5) MoveCoordination; (6) Training Coordination; (7) Information Services Coordination; (8)Special Events Coordination; and (9) Miscellaneous Activities. Work will be performed atStennis Space Center, Mississippi. This competitive procurement is 100% set-aside for U.S. Small Business Administration(SBA)-Certified 8(a) Program Participants located in the states of Mississippi andLouisiana. The firms should be located within the geographical areas serviced by theSBA-Mississippi and Louisiana District Offices. FOB is Destination.The Government intends to issue the RFP using Commercial Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part12) and FAR Part 15 (Contracting by Negotiation). Any resulting award will be made inthe form of a Single Award, Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity(IDIQ) contract.The estimated period of performance shall be for one base year plus four one-year optionsbeginning on November 23, 2008. The estimated contractor phase-in period shall be fromOctober 23, 2008 through November 22, 2008. The NAICS Code and Size Standard for this procurement are 561110 and $6.5 million,respectively. The anticipated release date of RFP # NNS08257979R is on or about July 14, 2008, with ananticipated proposal due date of on or about August 13, 2008. The firm date for receiptof proposals or offers will be stated in the RFP. The RFP will be issued without furthernotice upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the Section 8(a) program. All responsible 8(a) sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by theagency. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO-C9.An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".
