- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. RFQ W81NTE81358502 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. This acquisition is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business under NAICS code 339113 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The requirements in this solicitation are: CLIN 0001, Insight 4 Megapixel Color Mosaic Camera; CLIN 0002, Slide port adapter for camera attachment; CLIN 0003, Camera adapter; CLIN 0004, C-Mount Adapter. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal applies to this acquisition. Salient characteristics are: CLIN 0001, 4 megapixel digital camera with high native resolution; CLIN 0002, adapter to attach slide port to camera; CLIN 0003, adapter so camera can take photos through microscope; CLIN 0004, adapter to attach camera to microscope. Vendors shall comply with FAR clauses throughout this purchase request can be viewed by accessing website http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. Shipping shall be FOB destination to Brooke Army Medical Center, 3851 Roger Brooke, Receiving Dock, Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234-6200.
