Description
The proposed contract listed here is 100 percent HUBZone set-aside. The government will only accept offers from certified HUBZone business concerns. NACIS CODE 237130, Size Standard: $31 million. A Site Visit is scheduled for 15 July 2008 at the NAVAL AIR STATION, Key West, FL. See "NOTICE TO OFFERORS" within RFQ document. STATEMENT OF WORK DESCRIPTION: All labor, materials, supervision and equipment required to provide and install new 12 Strand Single mode (SM) indoor/outdoor Fiber Optic Cable via existing manholes/conduits and make connection from Spare-G within existing NMCI Main frame cabinet located in rm. # 201, second deck, Bldg. A-931 and run to the Electrical & Telecom Room located in Bldg. A-950. All new runs shall be pulled along with 2, 2-way MaxCell (or equal) with embedded toner wire from existing electrical manhole to manhole (wall to wall) and manhole to building POE to facilitate this run and future runs. Manhole coverings and safety barricades with evening warning strobe/pulse lights must be employed at all times until all phases of the work are accepted by the Government. The actual location of utilities shown and others not shown must be field verified by the contractor prior to any work. The contractor is encouraged to employ a company experienced in subsurface investigations for locating underground utilities at his own expense. The contractor shall not begin any excavations until such survey has been completed, submitted and approved by the Government.
