- National Security Technologies is seeking sources that can provide Engineering Staff Augmentation support services in accordance with the following: NSTec manages operations at the Nevada Test Site (NTS) and its related facilities and laboratories for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration, Nevada Site Office (NNSA/NSO). Locations of the NSTec facilities and operations include sites at NTS (65 miles north of Las Vegas), Las Vegas, and North Las Vegas in Nevada. The Subcontractor shall provide professional, skilled subject matter personnel to perform an array of Engineering and Architectural support services under minimal supervision. These services shall assist the Operations & Infrastructure (O&I) mission of National Security Technologies LLC (NSTec) (CONTRACTOR). The required assistance consists of the following disciplines: Senior Civil Engineer Civil Engineer Senior Architect Senior Fire Protection Engineer Senior Mechanical Engineer Mechanical Engineer Senior Electrical Engineer Electrical Engineer Senior Structural Engineer Structural Engineer Communications Engineer Procurement Engineer Senior Project Engineer Senior Civil Designer Communications Designer Senior drafter Technical Writer Prime Subcontractor shall, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, maintain access to a highly qualified pool of professional technical support personnel with the necessary knowledge of Engineering and Architectural support services. Prime Subcontractor shall have three (3) years experience in staffing engineering positions for Commercial Nuclear or U.S. Government Nuclear Programs and three (3) years experience and familiarity with Federal Regulations, Codes and Standards, DOE Orders, related to Design and Management of DOE Sites. Subcontractor shall provide qualified personnel as requested and defined in Exhibit A, Attachment A, Labor Category Descriptions including supervision, personnel, and transportation as necessary to satisfactorily perform technical support services that will support Contractor. Subcontractor shall be required to provide a minimum of two (2) resumes for each position labor classification, for each release requirement. Subcontractor shall be required to supply and mobilize Technical personnel within ten [10] working days of release award. Subcontract employee will be required to provide a weekly record of time allocated to assigned projects for approval. Subcontract employee must have the ability to obtain a Department of Energy (DOE) facility security clearance and have personnel capable of obtaining a DOE "Q" security clearance is required to perform work under this Subcontract. A DOE "Q" security clearance is required for all subcontract personnel having access to classified information or special nuclear material when performing such work. DOE Nevada Test Site (65 miles north of Las Vegas), DOE North Las Vegas Facility (North Las Vegas, NV). This is a Small Business Set-Aside. Interest Parties shall provide a narrative with capabilities to support this type of work, business size, point of contact with name, phone number and email address to Emma Fox at foxeb@nv.doe.gov no later than July 3, 2008, 12:00 p.m., local time.
