Description

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expert supervision necessary to remove bats from Buildings B2, B5, B6, & B65 at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, 1700 E 38th Street, Marion, IN. Work includes removing bats, sealing holes, removing contaminated insulation containing guano, and disinfecting areas in accordance with solicitation documents. Contractor shall meet the following qualifications: minimum of 3 years experience in the pest control field, certified by either NWCOA, (National Wildlife Control Operators Association) or NWDMA (National Wildlife Damage Management Academy), and have a current Nuisance Wildlife Control Permit issued by the Indiana Dept. of Natural Resources. This service is 100% set-aside for a small business, the applicable NAICS code is 561710; $6.5 million small business size standard applies. Estimated cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation package will be available on or about July 3, 2008. Proposals are due July 29, 2008, 10:30 AM
