- Amendment 0001, W91248-08-R-0102, Combined synopsis/solicitation for the inspection, maintenance, repair, build of fire fighting, rescue and safety equipment, Fort Campbell, KY, is amended as follows: a.Proposal due date is extended to 4:00 P.M. 27 June 2008. b.The following information is provided: "QUESTION: 8025796-01 Pak Alert SE, Field 4.5 Packs is not a valid part number.? "RESPONSE: Correct part number is 805796-01 Pak Alert SE, Field 4.5 Packs. "QUESTION: 803229-01 Air Pak Fifty Strap and Buckle kit is not a valid part number.? "RESPONSE: Correct part number is 805329-01 Air Pak Fifty Strap and Buckle kit. "QUESTION: Provide clarification on 2.2 Escape Kits? "RESPONSE: 2.2 is the type of pressure for the Air Paks that will be tested. 2.2 Escape kit is not a separate kit but 2.2 is the pressure for the Air Paks. 51 each need testing and/or repair "QUESTION: Provide clarification on 4.5 Escape Kits? "RESPONSE: 4.5 is the type of pressure for the Air Paks that will be tested. 4.5 Escape kit is not a separate kit but 4.5 is the pressure for the Air Paks. 61 each need testing and/or repair "QUESTION: Provide clarification on Escape? "RESPONSE: Escape is a air purifying respiratory protection designed for escape from a variety of toxic level concentrations. 8 each need testing and/or repair "QUESTION: Provide clarification on RIT Pak.? "RESPONSE: Rapid Intervention Teams (RIT) Pak is a bottle with a regulator used to replenished another RIT Pak during a fire. The RIT-PAK is the first portable air supply designed to provide those tools needed by a RIT team to rescue a downed or trapped firefighter or victim. 2 each need testing and/or repair. c. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
