- Description
- The scope of this contract will include Design/Build, Construction, and Incidental Service Projects associated with Military and Civil, Support for Others, and other programs to support the Great Lakes & Ohio Rivers Division Mission. It is a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) Umbrella contract. It is anticipated to award no less than 3 but no more than 5 contracts under this umbrella contract. This is for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) Contractors that are registered in Small Business Administration SDVOB program. Total combined contract capacity under the umbrella contract is planned to be $100 million. The work can consist of but not be limited to: design/build, building construction, demolition; debris removal; structural repairs; renovations; site work; utility installations and replacements; paving; channel improvements; Industrial repairs/upgrades, landscaping; geo-technical work, instrumentation, architectural, security systems and design associated with various aforementioned tasks. Each MATOC will consist of a one two-year base period and three 1-year option periods, for a total of five years. Estimated Cost Range is $25,000,000 to $100,000,000. Minimum guarantee is $10,000.00 for the two year base contract. Individual task order limit is $20,000,000 with a typical Task Order amount of approximately $2,500,000. Task Order issued against this contract will be construction type with the applicable wage rates applying. Sites of work can be anywhere in the Great Lakes & Ohio Rivers Division Mission Boundaries including the Nationwide Army & Air Force Reserve Mission. This is a Request for Proposal and offers will be evaluated on the following technical basis, not necessarily in this order of importance: 1) Management, 2) Experience, 3) Past Performance, and 4) Cost. Proposals received from this solicitation will be evaluated for best value. A sample project will be included to determine price reasonableness. The solicitation will be available approximately 14 July 2008 only by downloading from the Internet. The proposal due date is approximately 18 August 2008.
