- The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will be soliciting proposals to help improve the recruitment and retention of physicians, and other health professionals in rural, underserved areas. This will be accomplished by improving the skills of State entities that are currently doing recruitment. It is anticipated that a cost type contract with a period of performance for one base year with 2 option years many result from this solicitation. The solicitation will be issued on or about July 11, 2008. It will be available at the Gov at www.fbo.gov under HHS, Health Resources and Services Administration, Posted Dates. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the site for amendments to the solicitation. The agency will consider proposals from all responsible sources.
