- Description
- This project consists of providing all materials, equipment, and labor to perform construction work for the complete installation of a new approximately 2500 square foot one-story addition to the Secondary Pumping Station, Building 1507, at Arnold Air Force Base Tennessee: Clear Site and upon completion of final grade, establish lawn area. Grade, excavate, and structural backfill for new work. Provide required demolition and new building addition with components as shown in drawings and specifications. Provide masonry veneer, load-bearing exterior walls, roof trusses, and non-load-bearing interior partitions as shown on the drawings. Provide grading, storm drainage, and pavements in accordance with Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (SSRBC). Provide new electrical, communications, plumbing, and HVAC work. Provide for fire hydrant. Provide grading, gravel surfacing, and paving in accordance with the TDOT SSRBC. Repair damage to lawns, grasses, roadways, etc. caused by this work. Provide termite treatment. Provide provisions per drawings and specifications for lead and asbestos at selective demolition. This does not constitute a substantial portion of the work. And other incidental tasks necessary to complete the work as required by the specifications and drawings. The building will be occupied at all times during the contract performance. Performance period is 240 calendar days following Notice to Proceed. Invitation for Bid will be available on or about 14 July 2008. Bid opening date will be on or about 13 August 2008. Construction Magnitude: Between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Invitation for Bid (IFB) will only be available electronically at the FBO website. No hardcopies, faxes, or emails will be available. Please register as a source to be notified of IFB Amendments, Clarifications, etc. However, it is the responsibility of contractors (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information. NOTICE: Award of a contract will be in accordance with FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor received notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
