- Request for Information-The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center SPAWARSYSCENCharleston Code 56410 Advanced Technology Branch is seeking information oncommercial off the shelf mobile trailer-mounted direct-drive non-PTO gasolineor diesel-powered pumps that can be used by emergency responders in floodcontrol. Pumps included in this response must be the manufacturers standardmodel have a flowrate capacity of at least 500 gallons per minute withdischarge outlets no less than 4 inches and no more than 12 inches in diameter,and be mounted on a D.O.T.-compliant highway-ready trailer. The Department ofHomeland Security-DHS-Authorized Equipment List-AEL-reference numbers for floodcontrol pumps include 03SR-02-TPGS and 12VE-00-SPEC. The target audience forthis information is the emergency response community and all submittals shouldbe suited to their specific needs. Review of this information is being performed for DHS, Federal EmergencyManagement Agency Incident Management Systems Integration Division. DHSestablished the System Assessment and Validation for EmergencyResponders-SAVER- Program to conduct comparative assessments and validationactivities that provide the emergency responder community with information onimportant products and services. Visit the SAVER Program Web site athttps://saver.fema.gov for more information on the SAVER Program. All information received will be treated as public knowledge and may be used inSAVER Program documentation therefore vendors should not submit proprietaryinformation in response to this RFI. Specific information sought includes:1. Company information-including name-address-URL-revenue and number ofemployees.2. Whether the company is a manufacturer or distributor.3. A point of contact for follow-up information and point of contact phonenumber and e-mail address.4. Product name and a brief description.5. Cost information such as purchase price and General Services Administrationschedule information. The submitted information will be evaluated for inclusion in SAVER projects andreports. Determination as to individual product suitability will be made bySPAWARSYSCEN Charleston based on the objectives of this request. Vendors maybe contacted following submission for more detailed product information.Vendor provided information may be reformatted for publication in SAVER Programdocuments.
