- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. OFFERS OR PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. THIS IS NOT A PRESOLICITATION OR SOLICITATION. The project consists of Upgrade of the Clinic’s generator backup system to include electrical backup of the entire building. This project includes but is not limited to: (1) Installation of an additional 225A automatic transfer switch to allow the code required segregation of the emergency systems from the standby system loads which are connected to the existing 300 kVA generator. An additional new 200A circuit breaker will be installed on the generator to provide separation of these systems. (2) Panel boards supplying power to the site headbolt outlets will be reconnected to the MDP so these loads will not be connected to generator provided power. (3) Reconfiguration of other electrical power systems to accomplish items A and B (conduits, conductors, etc.). (4) Provide equipment operations and maintenance manuals. (5) Provide operational and service training by Contractor on reconfigured electrical distribution system for military and civilian base maintenance personnel. (6) Provide Warranty – individual equipment warranty or one year whichever is longer on all new work. (7) Provide As-built drawings of all new work. Estimated Project Cost is between $25,000 and $100,000 (based upon FAR 36.204). The intent of this Sources Sought is to research qualified 8(a) or small business contractors with a primary NAICS code of 238210 for this upcoming acquisition. Interested 8(a) and small business contractors should submit to the point of contact listed below information regarding their company. The information we are seeking is company name, point of contact with phone number, fax and e-mail, and relevant work experience with similar projects.
