- Description
- The general scope of this contract is to install a cover over the un-watering pump discharge pipe on the South Side Tailrace section of Power House, Main Unit 1 at the John Day Dam, Rufus, OR. Project can be accessed from Exit 109, I-84. Entry to the dive-staging area is via roadway to the working deck or via boat. All dive operations will be from the working deck or dive vessel adjacent to the South Side Collection Channel. The Dive Team shall be on-site for this installation dive at 0800 Wednesday 06 August 2008 at the John Day Dam. The dive team should expect a combination of surface work and (1) 08-hour shifts, 08 hours total per person with an option for a second 08-hour shift. All operations shall be conducted at the direction of an on-site, Government representative. A separate second mobilization and 8-hour dive day as described above will be required to remove the installed out-flow pipe cap. Second dive will be scheduled at 0800 Thursday 14 August 2008.
