- This is a re-posting, previous posting under SPRHAI-08-R-70650 - correctsolicitation number is SPRHA1-08-R-70650The purpose for this requirement is to establish a contract, using fulland open competitive procedures, for an improved wheel & brake system insupport of the C-130 aircraft under the Improved Item ReplacementProgram (IIRP) and IAW the Statement of Objective and other requiremensdocuments. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for whichtheGovernment intends to conduct a source selection using thePerformance Price Trade-off method and intend to award only onecontract. The proposed contract action will provide for a basic with twooptions: The basic will include a First Article for the Wheel (NSN1630-01-561-4960) and the Brake NSN 1630-01-561-4963), 48 wheel flightevaluation articles, 40 brake flight evaluation articles, 5 wheel IPVarticles, 3 brake IPV article, and 4 brake assemblies to be provided tothe antiskid manufacturer. Option year 1 will consist of ProvisioningSpares items, 1,684 ea wheel assemblies, and 1,428 brake assemblies.Option year 2 will consist of Provisioning Spares items, 1,692 wheelassemblies, and 1,435 brake assemblies.
