- NAICS Code: 541620 BACKGOUND: NAICS Code: 541620 The US EPA, OAR, ORIA intends to award a sole-source purchase order using FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Low Level Radioactive Waste Forum, Inc. This request is to purchase an Associate Membership renewal to LLW Forum, Inc. to include: Active no-voting participation in meetings of the LLW Forum Inc. LLW convenes semi-annual meetings that provide important interactions for EPA, its governmental partners, and its stakeholders towards the Agency's pursuit of its policy priorities. Continuing this membership is appropriate because it provides direct benefit to the Radiation Protection Division in developing its policy priorities and in carrying out the purposes of its appropriations. Membership in the LLW Forum supports an important organization that keeps the Agency informed of issues directly related to the Division's work on access to a "members only" website (20 Comp. Gen. 497 (1941); etc.). The Forum also convenes semi-annual meetings that provide important interactions for EPA, its governmental partners, and its stakeholders towards the Agency's pursuit of its policy priorities. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 15 calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed Purchase Order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
