Description
FOR PLANNING PURPOSES: SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Great Lakes Region is seeking competent and qualified contractors to perform the construction and installation of an Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR-9) facility at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE), Cleveland, Ohio. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, permits, and transportation required to install and perform work under this project. The work will be performed in strict accordance with the contract drawings and specifications, SOW attached. PERFORMANCE TIME: 200 calendar days. NAICS: 237990 ESTIMATED COST RANGE: $1,000,000 to $2,000,000. FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION BONDING REQUIREMENTS: 100% Performance Bond and 50% Payment Bond. INSURANCE REQUIRMENTS: Between $1M and $5M. Note: Only contractors which can demonstrate possessing prior experience at an operating airport will be considered for this project. The work experience must be of comparable size, scale, and, complexity as this project. To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website: www.ccr.gov). Interested firms must complete and submit the attached Screening Information Request (SIR) Application along with pertinent information and mail to Guadalupe Gonzalez, Federal Aviation Administration, AGL-52, 2300 East Devon Avenue, Des Plaines, IL 60018. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
