- Question Received from a prospective Bidder. Question: Why isn't the ADS40 pushbroom sensor allowed to be used for the project? It appears from the scope of services that all work can be performed with this sensor. We would further argue that the accuracy achieved may be better than that achieved from frame camera technology, considering the lack of ground control, since there will be less image mosaicing required with ADS40 image capture. Answer: This work is part of a research project funded by and done in collaboration with the NRCS National Resource Inventory (NRI) program. The NRI decided to go with digital frame camera technology, not pushbroom sensors, despite the potential advantages. The imagery requested needs to be captured using technology similar to that used by the NRI. BE SURE YOU CHECK THIS WEBSITE FOR ADDITIONAL UPDATED.
