NSN(s): 2815-01-179-9055, Item Description: Filter Assembly, Drawing Number (19207) 13214E2800, Quantity 914 each including 79% option quantity), Unit of Issue: EA, Destination Information: FOB and Inspection, Delivery Schedule: 155 days, All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements and is cited in each individual solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date approximately July 15, 2008. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Drawings/specifications will be available through the DIBBS solicitation link in the synopsis on the solicitation issue date. Proposed procurement contains a 79% option for increased quantities. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
