- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for enhancements to the Adacel Tower Simulator System for the conversion of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Database. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Logistics, Acquisition, is conducting a Market Survey/Request for Information to determine interest in providing the above services. This announcement is not a screening information request (SIR) or request for proposal (RFP) of any kind. It is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Further, the FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The proposed single source for award of this procurement is ADACEL Systems, Inc. of Orlando, FL. They modify their own proprietary software to work with their proprietary simulator system software. Requirements include a visual database conversion of 2-D, GRED White Board to Version 3.11, development of five SEA scenarios, site installation, testing and training. The FAA will not pay for any costs associated with the preparation of responses or information provided in response to the Market Survey, nor reimburse or otherwise pay any costs incurred by any party responding to this announcement. Therefore, any costs associated with the Market Survey submission are solely at the interested parties' expense. Any information provided under this request for information is for informational purposes only and will not be released to the public. Any proprietary information submitted must be adequately marked as proprietary and will be protected accordingly. The interested vendor's response must be submitted no later than 11:00 A.M. local time on July 3, 2008. Limit responses to 5 pages and include a Business Declaration Form (Attached).
