Description
The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Hilton Alexandria Old Town to provide support to the Army G-1, Human Resources Policy Directorate, SAPR office for planning and executing the 2008 Army Sexual Assault Prevention and Risk Reduction Training Summit in Alexandria, Virginia. Period of Performance is Monday, September 8 and Tuesday, September 9, 2008. Requirements include individual hotel rooms, and security for personnel and their belongings, for at least 25 personnel on 8th and 9th of September. This noncompetitive action will be processed in accordance with FAR 6.301-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements). The Contracting Center of Excellence plans to issue this requirement as a purchase order. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. All inquiries must be addressed in writing via e-mail to: brenda.keiper@hqda.army.mil by NLT 10:00 a.m. on 8 July 2008. Telephone inquires will not be accepted. The decision not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
