- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal BusinessOpportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy ElectronicCommerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ While it isunderstood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis andsolicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO isunavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information postedby NSWC Crane. NAVSURFWARCEN Crane Division has a requirement for Antenna System and ComponentMaintenance and Repair in support of Electronic Countermeasures, Fire Control,and Search Radars as follows: These services shall include maintenance and repair of AN/SPQ-9B, AN/SPA-25G,AN/SPS-40, AN/SPS-55, AN/SPS-48, AN/SPS-49, AN/SPG-62, AN/SPS-64, AN/SPS-67,AN/SPS-74, MK-82 antenna systems/components, and maintenance of SPS-49 cabinets.Maintenance and Repair shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW)and applicable documents in Section 2.0 of the SOW. The SOW will containPersonnel Requirements for qualified personnel, Proximity Requirements inProximity to NSWC Crane, and Facilities Requirements. The work performed underthis contract shall be performed at the prime contractor owned/leased facilitieslocated within 30 miles of NSWC Crane Division, Crane, Indiana. Work identifiedas AN/SPG-62 Antenna Physical repair and MK-82 Director Physical repair shall beperformed at NSWC Crane. This solicitation will be issued utilizing full and open competition procedures.The solicitation shall be 100% set aside for small business. The solicitationwill be available for download on or about 11 July 2008. Closing date will beon or about 11 August 2008. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute aRequest for Proposal (RFP) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy toprocure subject requirements. The POC is Ms. Kelly Anderson, Code 0564EK, at812-854-3862 or email kelly.anderson@navy.mil. All responsible sources maysubmit a proposal which shall be considered. Offers must be submitted in theformat specified in the solicitation to be considered. Submitting a bid fromthe NECO web site by clicking on the "Submit Bid" does not guarantee offers willbe received by the proper person in the correct format. It is theresponsibility of offerors to download the RFP and to submit offers to the POCat NSWC Crane to be considered.
