- Description
- Description: This project will expand the existing clinical laboratory. Work includes the expansion of the lab over the adjacent warehouse at roof level (2nd floor) at approx. 7,200 SF. New space will be new lab area and will be a steel framed structure with brick veneer and interior steel stud/GWB walls for lab sections. New lab tables/hoods will be included. The existing lab space of approx. 4,000 SF will be renovated for offices, storage room and morgue. The magnitude of the construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 and this is an Invitation For Bid (IFB). Work is estimated to begin in mid-August to September with 485 calendar days for completion time. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 236220 and the small business size standard is $31.0. There is a Pre-Bid tour scheduled for 10:00 a.m. M.S.T. on August 13, 2008 outside of room B-8. Bids will be due on September 4, 2008 at 1600 M.S.T. This is a Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside.
